The eagles were out on Sunday. Saw a bald eagle fighting with an osprey. Way cool!!. Was fun watching the osprey fish and one even went after a duck. Saw a beaver at the south end. I caught a couple of bass on a brown plastic worm. They were both legal fish at 10 and 11 inches but I tossed them back for another day. Even a fiesty lake perch came out and sucked down that worm. The worm was longer than he was but he still ate the whole thing. Was a slow day for fishin but well worth it. What I want to know is where are all the trout that the game department dumped in the lake? There is not much time before the water warms up and the wakeboarders and jetskis ruin the fishin. Have not tried a morning yet... maybe on Saturday.
