Took the pontoon out to get ready for this weekend. Started at the public access ramp @ 830am. Went to the left side as looking out (N) from ramp working Green Wolly bugger on clear sink line. Within 10 minutes had 1st fish in the net after 3-4 hits along the way. Nice 12 1/2 in. fish that put up a good fight, let it go back to hopefully get bigger.

Proceeded to work back towards ramp then around to (S) shoreline almost to little cove in back when wind picked up a bit. Had probably 20 hits with 3 more to net then released. Switched to Brown sparkle leech and Black sparkle leech had just as many hits on both. Seemed that the black did a little better as I got closer to ramp again. With 4-5 more hooked and released.

All in all was great to be on the water. Had a great time getting ready for the weekend and watching the eagles. Guys at the ramp seemed to be getting fish as well. Saw a couple leave with limits. Most were using power eggs.
