Great fun on the lake -- full of fish. Caught 20 in 2 hours, lost another 4 that I got to fight for a bit, missed about 8000 one-hitters. All in the 10-12 inch range, some were nice and fat, a few were on the skinny side, but most of them were crazy jumpers, and was a lot of fun. All but 2 are back safely swimming in the lake for the rest of you to catch, the 2 unlucky ones are in my big fat belly.

What made the day better was the friendliness of the fellow fishermen out there, class acts all, offering to help with boats and sharing a laugh. One thing though, to whoever fished from shore and left your cigarette butts and lighter tossed on the ground by the launch -- do you even consider the hundreds of other people and animals that enjoy the park? We are very fortunate to have such a beautifully updated and accessible park with brand-spankin new facilities and people like you don't appreciate it enough or think of others enough to haul out your trash? Hope you never come back.
