After a really clear day, it started raining in the afternoon. I thought I'd try out Pine with hopes that the majority of the people left because of the rain. I got there around 6pm. Still more people than I had hoped but it wasn't shoulder-to-shoulder.

I landed 5 fish total in about 30 minutes and let them all go. 2 of them were about 14" holdovers. The others were stockers. I had a 6 foot leader and was getting strikes constantly.

I think the rain and change in barometric pressure might of helped stir the fish even more.

A lot of the people on the dock were definitely keeping more than their limits. Its kind of sad but I'm not the type of guy to call people out.

Pine Lake is a really good spot. My husband and I went there 2 days ago and had lots of fun. But I agree with you that it is sad when people try to keep more than the limit. We two supposedly could have 10 but we just brought 3 back home because we couldn't eat that many if we brought 10 or more back.
