Buddy and I went out trying to get some trout and bass. Started off trolling for RB. Had a couple strikes and 2 small stockers landed. Took a while though. Lot of surfaces but not much action. Switched over to still fishing to try our luck at bass. Found some beautiful 4-5 pound bass. After a few attempts at those big bass we noticed they were on their spawning beds so decided to leave them alone. Buddy caught another small bass using jointed rapala. We each had a couple more stikes on top of that. Switched back over to go for some more rainbow. Had 4 more Stockers and a 16" while trolling. Overall good day but with how many surface action there was I woulda thought we wouldn't have had to work so hard for those few fish. Good luck all and tight lines.-
