Fished Beaver Lake on Opening Day!~

Arrived at 7:30 am...and the parking lot was almost completely full.
It was crazy there...probably because Pine Lake is closed.
I had never seen so many boats on Beaver Lake...probably 50 boats and a whole lot of tube floaters.
The County Park was full of shore fishermen...the boat launch didn't have but 1 or 2 shore fishermen all day.

There were Reporters from the Issaquah Press taking our picture and asking info...at the boat launch.

My girl friend Fiona and her 8 year old daughter Devin went with me.
They were real troopers...it was cold and windy most of the morning.
The wind made trolling a real pain in the @$$.
Never heard a complaint out of either of them the whole day. :)

Devin the 8 year old got the first 2 fishes...1 brood stock 18", 2 lbs. and a 12" Beaver Lake Special...she was using a Wedding Ring with a Nitecrawler.
This was the first time she has gone fishing...so she was excited.

I got the next 2 fishes...One 12" Beaver Lake Special...and 1 brood stock 20", 3 lbs...I was using a Luhr Jensen Gold Hot Shot, size 70.

My girl friend Fiona got the next 2 fishes...2 Beaver Lake Specials.
She was using a Silver with a Blue back YO-ZURI Snap Bean.

See a pattern?
2 fish each in a row....weird huh.

I got one more brood stock...a 18", 2 lb.
Lost a few that jumped out of the water on me and spit my lure out.

We had a great time.
Fish On!~
