First time at buffalo and this is a good little lake. We camped on the lake so we kind of fished it off and saturday and sunday. It was pretty non stop action and the fish were all nice size. The average was about 17". Any color powerbait with about 18" of leader and your set.
I have heard this is the best crawdad lake in the state, and after going there I can confirm that it is, or at least the best I have seen. We didnt even throw out the pots and we managed to catch 40 in about an hour and a half, by hand. There are so many crawdad in this lake its almost creepy, it looked like the bottom of the lake was alive.
