Well, decided to go out for a bit tuesday... not my norm I know. Got out very late for my norm as well... started fishing around 3pm... cruised along the eastern shore line, hittin docks and weed pads... nothin hittin, nothing followin, nothing but weeds and water. 4:30 rolls in and I am discouraged, bam lure sticks, damn more weeds, BAM lure RUNS!!!! Not a long fight, longer then most, no surfacing, no splashes... stays deep get up about 6 feet from boat and he comes up, 30 inch Tiger, the folks on thier porch were impressed. Just about to reach in to grab him and he shook the hook. The little lady calls my cell and I head off the lake. It was fun... my first time hooking a tiger, even though I see them 90% of my outings. Just a taste for me, now I have to have more... I will be back out again thursday the 23rd. 3am-?? prolly start the morning slowly workin some hot spots, then as the day heats up either get some panfish or troll for anything that will hit!
