Hit Potholes with Basstradamus-BassFanatic for some Bassin-n-Camping with our Fam-Bams. Got 2 Potholes about 10 am Friday morning and set up camp,..BF had allot of Family 2 help out so we waited 2 hit the water,..soon as we did we headed straight for the Dunes for some Greenie action,..gets very shallow very fast,..you definately need a GPS if you're gonna negotiate the Dunes,..no luck there so we headed to the Dam and scouted for the AM. Next morning Basstramus and I hit the Dunes at 1st Light,..again no luck so we cruised 2 the Dam,..we started hittin Smallies right away but they were under 2 pounds,..I did have a 4+ break off at the boat,..SMB took my Jointed-Perch-Rap and ran me crazy on the rocks,..she dove 3 x's and ran my line accross the rocks before i went 2 lipp her then she broke off,..line was snapped clean with abrassion all up and down,..tied on another Perch-Rap and went at it again,..stayed out for a bit longer and headed 2 camp for some grub,..hit the Dam later on with BassFanatic,..again all we caught were small ones,..seen David Watkins and chatted for a bit,..he also was catching allot of small bass,..nothing over 2lbs,..hit it Sunday AM one more time with BF and the same results. We had a blast with the Family and this will be a yearly event for us,..just wish the SMB were bigger,..we tried everything but could only manage the small ones 2 hit,..oh well it was fun none-the-less!

Hey BB i saw you there! You were actually fishing right next to my boat for a while by the rocks. I waved but dont think you recognized me.

Haha you'd have definitely noticed me if i did that. Its alright though, maybe next time.
Sounds like you did good with a perch rap huh? I did good with rattletraps of any color for the smallies. Nothing huge, a little of 2lbs would be the largest, but catching fish in quantity is always fun. Also caught a few 1lb largemouths in fishing near the state park, again with rattletraps. Plastics were not working for me at all.

Yeah JT,..I threw allot at the Bass but the only thing that they hit was the Perch-Rap,..evrything we caught was under 2 lbs also,..same for David Watkins and Basstradamus,..not sure what was going on,..tried upsizing but 2 no avail,..it was fun just catching Bass but after awhile it got old wanting the Big-Gurl 2 hit,..had I boated the 4+ SMB that got away it would have made the weekend!
