Got to the lake at zero rain thirty. That's 5:15 am your time. Caught the first fish on about the 5th cast, Then 2 more. The 3.1 bit at about 5:30, swam around in 5 foot circles about 10 feet from the boat, didn't even get to wind in any line, DARN. After she got a little more tired I brung her aboard. Put her in the livewell so I could wait until light to take her picture. Caught the biggin after light showed up and decided this was a good time to take a picture before reliese.

Also got one on a buzzbait, and 2 tried to attack a Baby Spook.

3.1 was caught on a black spinnerbait.

The 6.4 was caught on a deep diving Rainbow crankbait, and believe it or not, on the CASTING rig in the picture. LOL

Had so much rain that the automatic bilge pump came on 3 or 4 times. :)

AMX, You've got the coolest boat seats! I always enjoy when you post pics. Very nice fish. That would be a PB for a lot of people.

It's shy of my personal best by 3.6 pounds. Also caught out of Sawyer back in about '94. But on a different crankbait, and a different area of the lake, altho it was in May and not quite as deep, and I still use that very lure most every trip to most any lake. :-)

But now I have another 'favorite lure'. LOL

I always knew there was big fish in that area and that 'spot' but I'd not caught one that big in 'that spot' before, but have in that area.
