The wife and I decided we had enough of house remodeling projects and took the weekend off fishing! We thought we'd try a couple lakes that we haven't been too yet and Waitts was the first on the list and we were not disappointed! Even though there were boat races on the southeast end of the lake we headed out on the left side of the lauch and found the ledge with some foilage and consistantly caught Largemouth but were all dinks, but lots of fun! When we got to the point where we could'nt hear each other talk from the boat noise we headed to the west end of the lake and marked school's of fish around 20-30ft, so we anchored, put on a worm and consistantly pulled in 7-12" perch and one 10" rainbow, we had non-stop action, and what a georgous day!
