Launched around 4:30PM on the hunt for bass.
Had positive results with just about everything. I tried a new to me
Booyah swimming jig and caught a few dink bass,I put on a trailer and smothered
it in scent. Also tossed a few cranks and spinnerbaits,all yielded a few dinks.
My wife hooked a few but only got one to the boat using a lipless crank in a bass
pattern. My son caught a few perch and sunnies with the worm/bobber.
A pretty good day of fishing but all small bass...ranging from 1/4-nearing 1 pound.
All fish seemed to still be pretty close to the shoreline in 2-10 feet of water...well
at least the small bass are in that range. Water temp was 60,overcast but dry
with a slight breeze from the northwest. All fish released healthy.
