Went out to blackmans today about 9:30ish am - 3:30pm

Used the newer pier. Caught one rainbow about 12 or 13 inches, released him, had another on and lost him right at my feet. Also I missed about 4 bites! heh! From 9:30-maybe 12noon fishing was pretty constant, after that things got slower. I just put on my headphones and zoned out, thinking those thoughts you dont get around to thinking about in the rush and push of daliy life.

Met several cool people out there. Was a total of 7 other people came and went on that pier while I was there.

Was using sherbet power bait paste And about a 3-4 foor leader.

Happy fishing guys.

Troutmaster:
on page 31 of the game book for this year (paper copy) and page 27 on my pdf (electronic copy)
Statewide freshwater species rules It says under the trout heading:
in lakes ponds and reservoirs: No min size, daily limit 5, when fishing with bait all trout (except steelhead) equal to or greater than the minimum size are counted as part of the daily limit weather or not they are kept or released.

And I see no special rules for blackmans lake. Under the Westside Lakes - Special rules section. Starting on page 60. (paper copy) pg 56 (electronic copy)

So what part are you concerned about?

Not trying to be a downer, but its peoples comments like Trout Master here that make people not want to register, and not want to post fishing reports. Post a comment like this, use 41 (yes I counted) exclamation points to show hes really excited about it, then don't log in for a week.
