Today I got to go out on Lake Chelan all by myself. I had a plan to catch a nice Christmas Chinook to barbecue and to enjoy the beautiful Scenery. Well the Chinook did not like me today and well the scenery was fog then it rained on me a little, But I will tell you I still had a wonderful time catching the Laketrout. I fished off Rocky Point most of the afternoon trying to get a chinook. Used the Ace Hi-fly and managed to bang 11 laketrout with the biggest in the photo at 10lbs. 3 oz. The only other sign of life that I saw on the water today was the Lady of the Lake motoring by coming back from her Journey from Stehiken. Very peaceful day and productive for me. Kinda nice to go fishing for me once in while. Tight lines to all and good luck.

I went up there that monday the 14th.... The lake was rough with a uplake wind. I didn't catch a thing. The downrigger balls were too light so we were battling finding the bottom with the rough water. Hopefully my fishing partner can get hooked up with you and do a trip here in a couple weeks. Is your schedule pretty well open for January?
