Got on the lake and started fising around 1pm got off the water at around 5pm. Landed a nice 19inch 2.6lb brown follower by another 16 inch brown. Then later landed a 13in brown. Missed atleast 6 other fish on the day. I only have a small trolling motor and i did not charge my battery all the way apperently so i ran out of juice within the first hr. But i always have my orrs with me. Did not see many other fish cought maybe 5 in total small ones at that. Arrived to 9 trucks in the lot. Keep on posting.

Good report bazzdude, Rock is a beautiful lake. With your lack of power you must have been fishing the lower portion, have you ever fished the upper part of the lake?

No i have not fished the upper part of the lake, i would like to someday but i can not even come close to it, i usually make it to the second duck blind on the right hand side of the lake, i can make it that far and fish both sides. I found that the closer i got to the launch the smaller the fish got this time. Strange but tru. You ever fish the far end? I hear there is a falls there. Stay safe out there.

I have only fished Rock one time, and that was last year, but plan on fishing it more this year. What a beautiful lake, one of the best kept secrets in the state. We fished the lower half of the lake, then took a sight seeing excursion to the upper part, but did not fish it, didn't see a waterfall, but that's not to say there isn't one there. We caught several Browns, and lost one really nice rainbow that came boiling out of the water three times, was a little surprised that the Browns don't seem to put up much of a fight, these were the first ones we have ever caught. Will be looking forward to your next report.

The upper part of the lake is nice. fish in front of the inlet and bout 15-25 feet stay away during runoff lots of junk comes in and fish stay away but mid spring is hot. stay in 40-63 feet any deeper is a waste of time.....sometimes:-) good luck and watch the south shore it shallows real quick 80-2 in no time and just like steve tylor says "pink is my favorite color":) (apex)
there is a waterfall not much of one but its there!

I assume when you guys talk about the "lower portion" you are referring to the "launch" end of the lake? The upper portion being up past Johnson Beach?
