My Buddie and I were hoping the resort was open, but no such luck. Therefore we went to the public boat launch at the west end. Still a fair amount of ice, but we were able to find some open water along the shoreline to fish. After a couple of hours with nothing but cold feet to show for it we decided to try the public launch on the east end. A couple of hours there yielded 1bite, but no fish.
We did see a couple of boats on the water, and I do not know how they fared. Eyeballing it from shore my guess is half of the lake is still covered with ice. Enough of it is open that if you were careful you could get from one end to the other in a boat. I will give it another week and then try again.
