Second day and just as good as the yesterdays report. Except having Pa out fish me. As seen in the photo, dad's rod caught our limit, strange enough we were using the same exact gear but his rod was the only one catching. Makes you wonder. ;0)
We started out with 36 degree weather and made our way to the pens again. Dad did his magic and within 1.5 hours and we caught our limit, then moved the boat to the center of the river to catch a drift and enjoy our lunch. We didn't weight them in this time around as the digital scale died. Dad was ready of a nap on the trip back to the Bridgeport boat launch and for some reason his arms were sore.
A very good weekend with sun, great company and memories to add to the scrap book. Thanks DAD
Will be pulling out the Bradley smoker this coming weekend, to do some cooking. Nothing better than smoked trout.
Back to the "WET" side where the fish are measured in inches instead of pounds.

Hey sea-nile, Looks like you're going to have some good eating there. Thanks for the report. (By the way, it looks like your dads place is up the Okanogan? Where abouts, may I ask?) My mother has a place 2 miles South of Malott.

Thanks for the comment, he is around the Omak area, loves to fish and has passed that on to me. I try to get that way as much as possible. Makes it nice to have a boat on both sides. Fishing on one side crabbing on the other. What a life :0)

Yes indeed, it was all part of my master plan. Chase father out of this side of the mountains and have him secure a place on the East side so I can go eat his food and use his boat. Of course if you talk to him it would be a different story. But you know how old fisherman lie.......

A friendly reminder.........Do you realize you may have incriminated your Dad as having taken two fish over his limit?
Statewide General Rules page 25, "You May Not" Harvest any part of another person's daily limit. Except for persons who posses a Designated Harvester Card.
I know, from people who have been cited, that the State and especially Tribal officers, are keying on anglers who they believe, have continued to fish, after hooking a limit on bait or scented flies or lures. They watch from a distance for just this kind of violation. It's a big time money maker. Be careful out there!

reported edited to reflect it was the rod that was hot, all fish being caught off that rod. As noted later in the report "we caught our limit". per confirmation by report poster.
