Been hooking up the boat and hitting the lake just about every other night after work from 530 to 730 for about a week and a half now. When I started top water temp was around 47 to 48 degrees with no real fish activity seen. Tonight when I left at 730 water temp was holding at 50 degrees and small fish were both feeding on the surface and seemed to panic boil from time to time. Have been using just about everything from night to night with one solid bite last night on a fly trolled on the surface. After awhile I checked the knot on the fly and discovered the bugger had snapped the end off the hook barb and all. Another week or so and I think things will really start to pick up at Fenwick.
