We fished the north end of Duck Lake for crappie this past weekend. We caught about 30 crappie, 8 keepers. The largest was 11 inches. 2 others were over 10 inches. The fishing was consistant most of the day. We drifted with the wind and were catching the fish in 25 feet of water. The wind really picked up in the afternoon and that made it difficult to control the boat which was a little frustrating.

I know its three years later but, I am a new member. Its good to here the crappie are still there I havent fished em since the mid-late nineties. is there still a snag sticking out of the east side of the very north end?? we used to knock the poo out of em drifting out off the end of it with double rigge jigs. I would really like to get my kiddos out there if anyone has recent info. I work in shores and live in aberdeen. havent heard a word about em
