I've fished this lake for over 20 years and my first time over this year. I see it's still having problems. Fish growth is severally limited from what it used to be. This years plants are barely 5-7 inches and last years plants are a pathetic 11-12 inches. You can still catch a boat load of fish, but having fished this lake for so long it's a shame to see it going downhill so fast. As in the past, I see dozens of people throwing back the little fish as they aren't worth keeping. There are dead fish floating everywhere and the seagulls are having a field day. I C&R dozens of fish using a homemade spinner and fly fishing and only 3-4 were worth keeping. I hope this once great lake turns around.
