Saturday I tried paddling around to lilly pads in the eastern half of the lake. Tried casting a frog at the piggies. They weren't interested. I'm not even sure there were any. I had one hit on the frog all day, and saw TONS of little fish in the shallows. Some of them looked like baby bass and perch, and others had a very defined stripe down their lateral line. There were also baby juvenile bluegill.
Sunday my daughters didn't want to ride around in the yak with me, so we bank fished and had a few hits, but nothing stuck.
There were so many people on the lake that the fish were probably all hiding.
Beautiful weekend though, and NOTHING beats your daughters saying "Papa this was the best weekend ever!"
