A perfect day: warm but not hot, light breeze, overcast so no sun on the water. The fishing was perfect too: 16 bass from 10" to 16", 2 largemouth and 14 smallmouth. Caught half the fish on a white spinnerbait, most of the rest on senkos. The smallmouth were in shallow water although the larger fish were in about 6 ft depth. It was a blast casting a spinnerbait and watching the fish hit it! On the way back to the launch I covered the same water but with much less success...maybe it was the change in the wind direction and speed, a few hours made quite a difference. Anyway it was the kind of day you wish you could bottle and open again some other day.
