I have learned alot about the lake since I last fished. I fished Sat 26,sun 27, mon28 and Wed 30. I fished both the big side and the north small side. I fished the top and down to 40ft in about 50-60ft of water. In the north small side I fished in about 100ft of water. I found in the big side from the boat launch side just south of the launch is a stream to north of that is a water tank or shed thats green to be productive in on top and deep in 50-60ft. I caught fish with shoepeg corn, maggots, and not using any bait. I tolled from .5 - 1mph.The most productive area in the north side for me was by the camp with the big air balloon thing going south east to the orange bouy marking a log. I would troll from that to the dock just left/west of the camp in about 100-105ft of water. I was averaging about 10-12 1/2 inches. I didnt get any cuts this round I took my brother with me sunday and we got our limits and monday my brother and my moms boyfriend went out in the evening time. We were shy 2-3 fish for our limits and it was my moms boyfriends first time catching a fish. It was his second time fishing ever. He lost 3 before getting one in and it was a hoot to watch. I had to explain that you dont want to muscle them in. It was so funny he first crabed the rod reeled down and set the hook like you see bass fisherman do on tv. I thought he was going to fall out of the boat as gear came flying to the boat. It was a fun day until my battery ran low and juice and a gust of wind put us into shallow water I lost 22ft of cable and my ball. My moms neighbor said you have to hit it just at day break so I tried that wed morning before heading home. I used no bait as per the book and didnt see any size differents so I gathered my limit and called it a great weekend and week. I also pulled out some nice crawfish after letting pots soke overnight sat. The county sherif is out in full force up there I got a worning for not having my co2 sticker of my boat. They checked for everything. I stopped in at a car tab place up there and took care of it before I went out again. I was gald I did since they were out there again and now I have my sticker that says Im good. woo hoo. Oh I would have reported earlyer but my moms computer is down and I got busy with work sorry it took so long. Happy fishing have a great safe weekend and TIGHT LINES!!

Nice thorough writeup! Thanx for all the tips. I don't fish the lake but I'm sure your writeup will help some others.

Say do the 2/0 dodgers pull much harder on the line than 4/0 dodgers when trolling or reeling them in? Are the 2/0 about 6" long. Where did you get the Co2 sticker and what was the requirement for having one? This is something new, to me.

Thanks, Motoboat the 2/0 dodgers do move a bit faster than the 4/0 and dig in the water more. They are 6" long by 2" wide. the co2 sticker is for any boat with a gas motor on them. You can get them for free at any local place you get your License plate/ boat decals at. I know Gregs custom rods in lake stevens also has them. They are also hading out free escape cord for crab pots. I hope that answers your question. Im still learning as I go rseas has been a great help to me.
