Well today was a special event, I had the pleasure of taking Bobby out fishing to earn his badge for Boyscouts. The disappointing part of the event was the boat traffic on wedensday evening, wow it was like the midday on the weekend.

We only had a couple of hours to fish and started looking for bass around the 90 bridge, had a couple bites, but no takers. Ended up going to a dock that's been doing good and caught a couple of perch. Bobby did great, he casted a ton better than the rest of you guys and he always felt the bite. Even with the rough fishing conditions,Bobby did catch a couple perch by himself.

It was a beautiful evening and one Bobby will never forget. He is so proud to have gone "real fishing" and to have caught some fish. He has been telling everyone all about it today and he can hardly wait to go to Scouts next week and get his fishing merit badge. I have a feeling he is going to be asking Santa for a boat this year!
