7/15/2010 10:12:00 AMI fished this lake a couple weeks ago and only got hits from bluegill while fishing for bass. I seen a big bass chasing bluegill on the north end of the lake.

My 2nd time targeting bucketmouths. I started with throwing a white curlytailed grub, and my uncle used the same except in black. He immediately got hits and caught a few dinks. I got my first fish by a dock. We got alot of hits but only caught dinks, saw a few fish that were 16-17 inches. Had one nice solid hit but no hook up. Had a few nice followers. We fished the shpreline all around the lake,got no hits by the lily pads. Hit the lilies by the boat launch and got ambushed by bluegill. We had the most hits by the dock over by the park area. Tried a few deep divers and got one hit and that was it. Water temp was 71 we fished in about 8 feet of water. Overall it was a nice day on a beautiful lake.
