I checked out the reservoir for a couple of hours Monday afternoon. I
caught one fat 11-incher on a Panther Martin lure. I spent the
afternoon walking along the shore and casting. The other guy who'd
caught a lot of fish (a full limit, I believe) was also using lures (a
Roostertail, among others). The people that were fishing with bait each
had a couple of fish. Some people were fishing off the bottom, and
others were fishing beneath bobbers. The water wasn't crystal clear,
but it was a lot clearer than I'm used to seeing from that lake.. If
the rain holds off for a little bit more the reservoir should be in
great shape.
