I fish this lake almost everday and recently have been catching fish consistently. I've seen the best action in the main canal off the lake. I've caught several rainbow trout 14 inchs or bigger, with the biggest ive caught being 18 1/2 inchs. Along with the trout I have been reeling in alot of lake perch and small mouth bass. I fish with a rainbow colored blue fox and get bites very often. I also recommend using a red colored rooster tail, ive caught some good fish with that also.

Did you mean to say largemouth bass. To the best of my knowledge that lake doesn't have smallies, or at least I have never caught or seen any caught.

an easy way to tell is by looking in a straight line down from the middle of the eye, if the line goes past the end of the jawline it's a largemouth, if even or less with that line it's a smallie. You are obviously having good luck with artificials, good job! Bob R
