I woke up at 3:45am, called the boss man and he said, 'no work today'. Then proceeded to wake my 11yr. old up and head to American Lake. We arrived at the new boat launch at 6:20am. We used a dee's micro flasher and green wedding ring with white gulp maggots on 1 set up and a u.v. SEP'S dodger in green color and a mini splatter back hoochie. All fish were caught in 60 to 80 feet of water, 27 feet down off the riggers. All the are fish around 12-14 inches, except 1 that was kept, due to a hook to the left eye and bleeding... OUCH! Out of the water by 10am with 2 limits. 4 fish fried up for breakfast, the rest are in brine for the smoker! Mmmm Mmmm Good.

Where in the lake were you fishing, if you don't mind my asking, I'm going to hit American on Thursday to fish for Kokes, never fished it so general location would be helpful. Thanks, Bob R.
