Worked late the night before so I didnt get out to Pond #4 till after noon.Started out with small jerkbaits and due to the over abundance of stunted perch and bluegills I had a hard time targeting trout.A green worm harness with a couple of gulp maggots on the front hook,and half a crawler on the back seemed to produce the best.Keeping weeds off your offerings are another thing.I wanted to give this lake a try before the game dept starts dumping in all those 5 fish per pound loads like they do every fall.They really need better fish managing here in region 3.
