We hit Lenice about 10 and fished until 2. Lots of folks were at the lake on Friday. Weather was beautiful, and the fishing was spotty. I picked up 5, smallest at 14" and the larger ones at a fat 22". It was lots of fun. Used leech patterns in black and brown, and caught fish on both colors. The fish were holding at 15-20 feet, but came closer to the surface as it got later in the day .
We left at 2 and headed up to Rocky Ford. Didn't have a lot of fishing time at the Ford, but landed a few on a mayfly pattern on the top. Biggest fish at Rocky Ford was 26".
Yup! It was a lot better than working!
