2/20/2011 5:48:00 PMTough to fish from the little real estate located at the launch. You are lucky you did well, so congrats. It is unfortunate there is not more shore access at Rock. Personally, as a boater, I get really tired fighting with the shore bound just trying to get my boat in and out at the "boat launch".

2/20/2011 10:01:00 PMI think it is great that he caught such a big brown. Personally I think you should take a picture of the big ones and then release them. If everyone kept all the big fish; there wouldn't be any big ones left for anyone else to catch. Plus the big ones don't taste as good as the medium sized one. Just something to keep in mind! 2/21/2011 9:03:00 AMGood point Captain!. Many fishermen may never get around to eating all the fish in the freezer and therefore not know the larger fish do not eat as well. For those that eat the fish fresh, that would be quickly evident. The few browns I have eaten, taste different than other trout. As in, my taste buds did not care for brown trout. Perhaps it is what they eat. Nice catch PercePounder.
