3/8/2011 6:56:00 AMLOLOL.....deep....you gotta look HARD in that little puddle to find 20 ft of water...my bro was out there and had some luck cast'n to shore...caught a few still fish'n...and his biggest came drift'n across the middle of the lake with a garlic flavored crawler on a DS rig about 3ft off the bottom...DOG

3/9/2011 3:57:00 PMI was out there the day prior looking for bass. No bass to be found but I did end up catching about a dozen of those recent cutthroat planters right up under the trees on the west end of the lake. Caught them all on a 1/32 oz crappie jig with white curly tail grub cast up under the trees in about 2 feet of water. Trick was to swim the jig back quick with a few pauses in between. Easily caught 12 fish C/R all but 5 for a meal. After I got bored with that, I hollered at another boat- a father and young son and gave them a handful of the grubs. They immediately began to catch them too. Nice to be able to give a tip!
