Put in at Kenmore at north end of the lake around 9 am ,kind of late but it was a spur of the moment kinda trip. Went straight down the lake and started fishing for smallies at Sandpoint with a carolina rigged green lizard, no luck in about an hours time, Decided to motor down to the I-90 bridge, was glad I did. I caught a solid 2 and a half pound smallie around the middle bridge structure, then the next cast another that looked like a clone of the first, then the next cast I hung into a 6lb smallmouth, yes, I weighed it, fished about another hour and caught one more around 2lbs. Was one of the best fishing trips ever and was back to shore at 12 noon, wind came up. Hope to see out there!...Mike
