I hope you did'nt use power eggs. Bass don't eat eggs to good. It's tough to get bass on nice sunny days in the early spring. When the sun is out, fish cover, docks, brush and logs the fish will hold tight to ( wood cover the most ) when you have cold and sun. The best times are overcast, for me that is. I use a green pumpkin jig with( two ) split tail grubs. Why so big ? This time of year, the fish will bite if you put it in there face. A nice big meal is hard to turn down, when its in there face. Good luck out there, hope this helps a little.

Got to agree with Hawg Hunter, bass are predators and like to eat critters that wiggle and jiggle. I think yesterday was just a bad day, must have been the weather. I fished and never had a bite in a lake that I just caught 3 dandy smb in last week, but I noticed that the water temps. had gone down from 53, the day I caught my fish, to 50-51 yesterday. I think the fish clammed up.

The lake is only about 120 acres so it can get crowded very fast, and when we went yesterday people were bringing out very large boats with power full motors, I felt like we were out in the bearing sea lol, The ramp is very small but you can drive into the water to launch your boat
not a lot of parking so if your planning on going to Harts be there early!!!! Thanks for the tips everyone sounds like I need to go get some upgrades!!!
