Ahhh summer doldrums, kinda, on these days we fished. There was an early morning topwater bite on the flats by
entering Casey pond and then it got tough. In the ABA tourney big fish ,for the Big Fish Tourney, was caught on a topwater bait
near the mouth of the Yakima. It was a 5.2 Largemouth. We caught lots and I mean lots of Smallys at the mouth but the largest was a little over 2 lbs.
This really is a tougher time of year to catch those Big Girls but around mid Sept.-Oct. they,ll be up and feeding again. I have lots of bookings for that period of time so
