Hit the water around 10:45 with my buddy in our tubes. My buddy got one at 3 lbs on a chart spinnerbait right after we launched. I finally got one at 4-13 on a black jig with a Zoom Super Chunk trailer in some wood. After missing a pick up on the jig, my buddy followed up in the same spot with a Senko and hooked up the fish. 1-8. I lost another on the jig after a poor hookset, Felt like a good fish. One thing to note: the lost fish came after I had cast, let the jig sit for a couple of minutes while I was eating a snack. Picked up the rod and it was heavy with my line way to the left of me. So when you think you are fishing slow...slow down even more and watch the damn line!
