I thought... more like a tad pole!! they stocked the lake heavily this week but nothing bigger than 9 inches.. other than that great opening day, caught 30+ fish all C&R of course... guys PLEASE release for a while, give these 8,000 4 per pounds a chance to grow and put up a fight!

I was debating on hitting martha, I'm right here in town too, but I saw they only stocked it with 4.5/ lbs. fish and went to green lake instead. Yea those fish are too small.

An older guy said they stocked the bigger ones a few weeks ago but yeah I didn't see much size to them and may give them a few weeks. I barely hooked one this afternoon and the poor fish bled badly. And this is the second closest lake to my house.

I completely agree with your suggestion to release these 1/4 pound fish. Glad you had a great trip. Even catchin the little ones is fun.

Yeah guys leave all the fish in the lake so the birds and Spiny Ray have something to eat. We all paid for those fish to be stocked into that lake and it turns into a sewer once it gets warm so keep um if you catch um because they won't make it in that lake for long. Of course I know this because I have lived in Martha Lake my whole life.
