Wow, could not believe the lack of, have never worked this hard to get 1 fish, only bite of the day, about 10", my wife, (1st time out, ever!!) also was 1 for 1. My brother, went out both days, total of 4 hits, nothing to show. Did not see too many people having much luck either, oh wells, happens. I guess will wait another week or 2 for the water to warm up.

Wow, that’s surprising. I've always done well there. The fish plant says they planted 13, 670 1/2 pounders between March 30th and April 1st. I'm guessing the fish have already acclimated and ate no longer in the top 5 feet of water which is very good info to have. Thanks.

Dave, I also have done previously well at McMurray, could not believe it either. I also was using a Green "Double Whammy" by MACK, basically a "Wedding Ring" with a trailing hook, tipped with a 2 power maggots, a 1/4 ounce slip sinker with about 24"-30" leader. My wife was using a "Green Wedding Ring" tipped with power maggots, 1/8 ounce slip sinker, leader the same length, brother used "Green Needlefish" with power bait, 1/8 ss, same leader length. I guess will be making more trips up there hopefully in the next 2 weeks,..
