5/11/2011 6:42:00 PMJust a personal stance ... there's a bass tournament in less than two weeks so I feel it's bad etiquette to keep those bass since I was "stealing" their pre-fishing areas. Not that I would normally keep my bass - I always catch and release to do my part to keep one of the top sport fish's population plentiful and fat.

Please let the big bass go this time of year, not just for sport, but for future fisheries. They're getting ready to do their thing.
Another thing to think about is that large bass in Lake Washington are old, and they'll accumulate contamination over the years. If you want to keep any bass, I suggest eating the smaller ones.

5/12/2011 5:34:00 AMI hav'nt kept a bass in years. I was just saying if you like bass it's not the end of the world to eat one once in a while. especially in a lake that has wild Salmon and Steelhead smolt in it.
