It was hot the lake was crystal clear. I never fished here before but I could see my powerbait about 20 or 30 feet deep. but that is all we saw no hits, no bites, no fish. I left Washington in 1999 and I come back twice a yr and I have not caught a fish there since "99" what's the deal. I used to limit all the time. My buddies in Washington said it's been dead for trout in pierce county for a few yrs now except for the first few opening weeks. when you catch the small starving stocked fish. Is it overfished? Is everyone just keeping the small fish instead of tossing them back? I was skunked at Ohop and clear lake in back to back days. it's sad now I just go to relax with no expectations of catching anything..
