my dad and i got on the lake at 10:00. It was 65 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze. we decided to go down to the left of the park past the docks. we were fishing off the shore and my dad was using a rainbow roostertail and second cast he nailed a 9-inch brookie. too small to keep but fun to watch my dad catch. I then switched to a wedding ring tipped with a worm and got lunched so much i got sick of it and switched to a bobber with a worm, and two spilt shot sinkers six inches above the worm. lunched multiple times again. I switched my set-up for the final time to a hook line and sinker set up with four heavy splitshots four feet above some powerbait-(green in color, original scent) on a bait hook and have the floating power bait suspend off the bottom. i then switched spots to down back towards the docks and public park, at the last opening in the brush along the rock path and bombed my bait out there. not 10 minutes later i had a nice 14 inch brookie on the stringer. i then hooked into a very large brown (I'm guessing 20-22 inches) and he got off the hook just as he was about to be pulled to shore. So over all, good day fishing and we caught some fish.
