6/3/2011 10:35:00 AMI've put an underwater camera down in American several times. There are a ton of perch and rock bass down there. And they bite in all sizes. I have found to the left of the boat launch has not been very productive for smallies any time of the year. I've taken some nice ones off the face of the island in front of the boat launch, but usually mid summer on. The face of the big island, facing the boat launch is not the best during spawn. But mid summer thru fall it can be very good at times. I've taken two over 4, and lots of twos and threes between that dock that's been built to look like a tug boat and where it shallows up into reeds to the left. Anyway, just a little imfo.

6/3/2011 12:15:00 PMAll the places I would like to fish are out of range with the eletric motor, especially with the wind. I had to row back, I knew I was gonna though. It is better than no boat though. The city still wants me to pay to launch on other side, but I don't think I will.
