Got on the water about 6:30 this morning with my brother (who woke up late and had to meet me at the ramp). Beautiful morning, lots of small bugs on the surface, a few fish rolling/ jumping at the surface. We had a decent day, fished til about 10. Caught 4 a piece, not super hot but still good, but seemed to be bigger on average than last weekend, no real little dinks. Good fighters too on our ultralight gear. Trolled Pautzke's Fire Bait in rainbow shaped like a little leech or something, worked well but sometimes the fish eat it to much and can't be realeased. I caught a couple fairly deep and a couple pretty shallow, seemed they were all over in the water column. Come early to this lake, parking disappears quick on nice days.
