6/5/2011 4:39:00 PMYes sir, wacky rig. My buddies Tex rig was struggling to get in thier mouths. Very strange bite though. I call it a Mexico bit. The last time I've had bites this light was on El Salto. I've noticed consistancy in that so far this season. The first fish for me on Tapps this year were caught crossing thier eyes after the first tap. I'm usually more of a "feel the weight" hook setter than a "jerk-every-tap" guy, but this season I think we've got to roll with it and really pay attention to the bite. Unpredictable temp and weather patterns = unpredictable fish.
