6/10/2011 7:25:00 AMThe first one had a large bump on the top of its nose. Tried to get a pic of it after the fact and phone went to bottom of lake and had to retrieve LOL. Luckily I dried it out in rice and it still works and was able to save pics,, The fins did look nice and healthy...

6/11/2011 4:35:00 PMDont know if anyone knows for sure but I've been told they come from the hatchery that way. It would be nice to know for sure cause seems like almost of the fish I've caught out of Newman and Silver have had bad tails...

6/12/2011 9:19:00 PMI think you are right about the hatchery. They need to be raised large enough that they can survive, and by then they are trying to eat each other. LOL Idaho tried to plant them when they were only about 4 or 5 inches in size and they got very poor survival, but the fins were better. Keep in mind, this is information from the late 89's, so who knows what is the current theory.
