I'm starting to think I may have bad fishing karma. Spent another afternoon fishing Green Lake and didn't come up with so much as a a bite. Went back after yesterday's skunking and tried a few of the same tactics with some new ones tossed in. Spent the majority of the day working the grass beds and the laydown holes with weedless plastics. Ran a spinnerbait (black and blue), crawdad rapala, and nightcrawlers in various configurations. Between yesterday and today, I've used everything short of TNT. Trolled the south end of the lake for a bit with still no luck. Talking with the folks on the pier, they weren't faring much better. That only makes me slightly less depressed. Oh well, maybe I'll give it a few weeks and come back later.
