This report is for Fri and Sat (7/8 and 7/9):

The water level is lowering very quickly now, and launching is becoming very muddy so bring boots if you want to fish. The water temp is also warming up and the bass should be biting with temps getting into the mid to upper 60's.

Each day fishing I trolled a willow leaf with a pink wedding ring trailing behind. Friday I got all my fish on the south half of the lake. A limit in a bit over an hour with average size being about 12". Saturday most of my fish came on the north half of the lake with the average size being smaller, about 10".

Hope the pic of the launch area helps anyone interested in fishing here. The lake level should continue to go down throughout the summer until we get some heavy rains.

Tracker, those cement blocks were put there to keep people from driving on the lake bed during low water conditions.
Aaidian, I'm usually the only boat out there when I fish. Sometimes there are 1 or 2 others, but it's rare. I know Canoeingit from on here fishes it sometimes

I hope the bass come out soon. There are just so many hiding places at this lake. Maybe when the water level comes down that will improve the bass fishing as well.
