How much weight was used to get your WR down to the fish?

it seemed to work with 4 to 5 #3 split shots above the swivel. If you have a down rigger you could set it at 33-38 ft. and I am sure you would do just fine. I have some pics on my digital camera and will try to post them.

Did you mark fish at 33 to 38ft? I thinki the max lake depth is 65 or so ft. Nice fish you and your group were catching.

33-36 ft. seemed to be the dominant depth but all the way to 38 ft. marked nice size fish . I agree with the max depth that you state, and was using a 14 ft. smokercraft with a 38# thrust trolling motor at fwd.1. i was the only one of three who had consistent bites this time the last trip my friend pulled out 7 in 2 days and i only caught 2 with one other 13"fatty being from roses lake. It seemed to be only 33 ft. deep with many perch caught trolling>Best of luck and who knows we might cross paths one day.
