Late report, having computer problems. :(
Arrived around 8:30am and launched my boat, trolled DN spoons off the downrigger in less than 1½ hour I released 3, lost 4 at the side of the boat, and kept 5 --had alot of soft hits and drive bys without getting hookup.
After filleting the 5 kok's I noticed out the 4 had egg sacks eggs in them and 1 had sperm sack, just wondering if anyone knows when they start to spawn in this lake? This downpour of rain really turned on the kokanee to bite.

Kokes will spawn later in the year like sept-oct. Its cool to catch them that lake because of the Males bright red color, even tho they sort of lose their table fare like any other salmon, its pretty interesting to catch them in spawning colors

I would love to bring my underwater camera(Fish TV) and video them during that time, that would be so neat to see.

I just fish a DN(50/50) I think size 2 or a FST spoon alone about 25-30 ft behind the canon ball, no dodger or flasher. But if I fish the hoochy squid I use the small dodger. Oh yeah all these fish I caught monday was in the 32-35 feet
