This lake is extremly shallow! I used my fish finder to check depth. The south area from launch north to the point and across to east the deepest I found was 6 ft. Some area as shallow as 2 ft. Out in middle of the lake I found several area up to 8 ft. North side near creek channel shallow 5 ft or less.
Lots of heavy Lilly pads and reeds all round perimiter of the lake. Good bass areas.

Several reed islands are out in middle 2-4 ft deep in these areas with some Bass in the reeds.

Lake is probably 50% covered with light weeds floating to surface. My old trolling motor didnt have weedless prop so had to keep it raised near surface. Noisy but dosn't tangle in weeds as often. Rowing is a good option can fish whole lake with oars. Bring a anchor to fish bait or wind will move you around too much.

A new fishing dock is under construction north of old dock (closed) will be really nice when completed. There is a dock at boat launch but not much room with boats being launched and picked up there. A toilet is onsite in parking lot.

Started out day using worms on perch and bluegill. There were plenty of those. Have caught perch up to 12 " with average 5" Bluegill biggest 10" w/ 6" average. Just use a 4 baithook you will loose worms but the hook is easy to get out the fish. .Ran out of worms before dusk and moved to lilly pads pitching weedless black worms. Caught and released one 2 1/2 and one 2 lb large mouths
